Jasper Schuringa updates, Jasper Schuringa is the hero reportedly who helped saved a plane full of 278 people. Schuringa was one of the passengers who helped subdue the terrorist and pulled the bomb out of his hands and tried to extinguish it.

Schuringa is a director from Amsterdam, and the man who has been identified by several sources as the person who stopped Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab from injecting a chemical into explosive powder located around his stomach area. This was the first time this technique has ever been seen by U.S. officials.
