NAWSHEHRA: EU Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) High Representative Javier Solana has said the world wants return of displaced persons of Malakand division to their homes with dignity.

Talking to newsmen at Nawshehra the visiting European Union official said Monday the EU has provided 150 million Euros for relief of the displaced persons and will continue its support.

Solana said EU and the world siding with Pakistan in these difficult times when the country was confronting the challenge of militancy.

The EU official visited Jallozai Camp in Nawshehra and met with the displaced persons.

Chief of Special Support Group Lt. Gen. Nadeem Ahmed briefed the EU foreign policy chief about the matters relating to rehabilitation of the displaced persons.
