Jayne Peters & Daughter Found Dead

Police found the Coppell, Texas, Mayor Jane Peters and her teen shot dead at their home in suburban Dallas on Tuesday evening in what investigators say may be a case of murder-suicide. The CBS affiliate KTVT City Manager Coppell alerted the police and sent to the home of Peters’ mayor after the prompt, usually did not appear at the meeting of City Council regular schedule. When police arrived about 07:45 they found the bodies of Jean Peters (55 years) and her daughter Corinne Peters, 19. Each of the women suffering from gunshot wounds to the head.
