Judges Will Continue Work till SJC Verdict: Justice Tariq

PESHAWAR: Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court Justice Tarqi Pervaiz said judges whose cases had been sent to Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) will continue working till the verdict of SJC.

Talking to media here, Justice Tariq said those judges who took oath under PCO will stop function forthwith. SJC will decide about the future of three judges of Peshawar High Court Justice Jahanzeb Rahim, Justice Syed Maroof Khan and Justice Hamid Farooq Durrani.
On the other hand, lawyers in Peshawar decided not to appear in PCO judges courts during a meeting of High Court Bar Association. The meeting also demanded swift decision of three judges cases.
