Kabul Postpones Parliament Poll

Kabul: The Election Commission of Afghanistan has decided to postpone the parliamentary polls till September 18.
The plan to cancel the polls was taken to make West happy as the western countries sought election reforms ahead of parliamentary polls to avert the like of presidential polls disputes. The election commission said that the plan to postpone the election was justified; however, the Karzai government was against the plan.
