KSE records lowest business volume in August in 9 years

Due to financial crunch and unavailability of leverage product, business volume of the Karachi Stock Market plummeted to its lowest level in August in last 9 years. According to Topline research report, average business volume remained 5.70 crore shares in August. It is interesting to note that the market has seen shares trading of worth more than $2 billion on a single day of March 9, 2005. While in August 2010, shares of worth $ 58.10 crore were traded.
