Kurram Agency extremists’ hideouts hit, several injured

HANGU: Kurram Agency’s mountainous areas adjoining Hangu were subjected to an operation of the security forces, where several extremists were wounded.
Sources said that the security forces on a tip off relating to the presence of extremists in the areas resorted to shelling through gunship helicopters hideouts at Mazrina, Zangi, Murghan, Zeemst besides one post at Gawaki and targeted one suspected vehicle in the operation that left several wounded. However, no report of any death casualty was received.
DG ISPR, Major General Athar Abbas told Geo News that actions were being taken in Kurram Agency against those hiding here, while escaping underway operation at Hangu. Gunship helicopters kept hovering over the areas.
