KU’s Int’l Economic Confab From Today

Srinagar, May 27, KONS: An international conference on economic integration of south-east Asian countries is getting underway in the Kashmir University from Wednesday.Around a hundred delegates from various countries are participating in the two-day conference organized by the varsity’s department of economics in collaboration with the International Institute of Developmental Studies, Kolkata. The conference will discuss “Regional Economic Integration Among South East Asian Countries” and have a special session on Trans-Border Indo-Pak Trading. According to a university press release, the union minister for water resources, Prof. Saifuddin Soz, will be the chief guest at the valedictory function.
