Lions Mane Jellyfish is being considered the World’s Biggest Captive Jellyfish. A lot people are coming and standing by in a state park in Rye just to see the Lions Mane Jellyfish.
It is identified as a lions mane jellyfish in a species that resembles the South, by The Associated Press Officer Doug marine mud of the state.
The estimated weight of this Jellyfish is 45-50 pounds and 13 feet long the tentacle. It has 14 inch diameter bell and pink tentacles. After being found off the East Yorkshire coast, it was given to The Deep Aquarium in Hull.
According to Deep aquarist Tom Rowe, we were delighted to receive this amazing animal. I have seen a Lions Mane in the region for the first time and it is by far the largest jellyfish ever displayed at The Deep. He further says the jellyfish is very active and thriving in its new home now.
