Little League Base Ball World Series Scores 2009

The 16-team field is now set for the 2009 Little League Baseball World Series, to be played at Lamade Stadium in Williamsport, Pa., August 21-30.
The teams of 11- and 12-year-olds are divided into four pools of four teams each, with the first and second place teams in each pool advancing to the Semifinals on August 26-27. The International and U.S. Championship games are set for August 29, with the Consolation and World Series Championship Games set for August 30.
All 32 games of the World Series will be televised again this year. Thirteen World Series games will be televised on ESPN and 14 will be televised on ESPN2. In addition, the ESPN family of networks will carry all eight of the U.S. Regional Championship finals in the Little League Baseball division. The U.S. regional finals have been televised by ESPN and ESPN2 every year since 1997.

Europe: KMC American Little League of Ramstein Air Base, Germany
Japan: Chiba City Little League of Chiba City, Japan
Latin America: Coquivacoa Little League of Maracaibo, Venezuela
MEA: Arabian American Little League of Dhahran, Saudi Arabia
Mexico: Guadalupe Trevino Kelly Little League of Reynosa, Tamaulipas
The U.S. teams are:
Great Lakes: Logan County/Russellville Little League of Russellville, Ky.
Mid-Atlantic: South Shore Little League of Staten Island, N.Y.
Midwest: Urbandale Little League of Urbandale, Iowa
New England: Peabody Western Little League of Peabody, Mass.
Northwest: Mercer Island Little League of Mercer Island, Wash.
Southeast: Warner Robins American Little League of Warner Robins, Ga.
Southwest: McAllister Park American Little League of San Antonio, Texas
West: Park View Little League of Chula Vista, Calif.
