MA Jinnah Road Tragedy: Death tolls at 42

KARACHI, Pakistan News : At least 42 people were killed and more than 63 others injured in a bomb blast at Ashura procession on MA Jinnah road.
According to the report, explosion took place near Jama Cloth at around 4:15pm as a result 42 people were killed and 63 others injured.
The dead bodies and injured were shifted to different hospitals of the metropolis, where emergency has been imposed.
Police and LEAs have cordoned off the area.
Infuriated people have set ablaze more than 15 vehicles and several shops after the incident.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik has confirmed that the blast was a suicide attack.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Rehman Malik, MQM Chief Altaf Hussain, City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal and CCPO Karachi have strongly condemned the incident and appealed to the people to remain calm.
