Meera Contacted CCPO Lahore For Her Security

LAHORE: Film star Meera met Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Pervez Rathore and sought action against her purported husband Attiqur Rehman for allegedly attempting to kill her.

Meera told the CCPO that Attique and his accomplices had attempted to kill her and she survived because she was not at home. She alleged that police was favouring Attique and hence registered an FIR against her and her family. The CCPO ensured Meera of justice, adding that the investigations would proceed on merit.
