Militant commander among nine killed in Swat

MINGORA: As many as nine militants were killed in exchange of fire with security forces including a local commander, while 15 other were injured in various parts of Swat on Saturday.
Security Forces continued their clearance operation in Kabal during which seven miscreants were killed while 11 were injured during exchange of fire.
Ali Rehman, a local militant commander from Derai, was among the dead, said a release of media information centre.
In another incident in Sambat area of Matta, two miscreants were killed during exchange of fire with security forces, while four were injured.
Security Forces also targeted the suspected hideouts of militants in Peochar and Manja areas.
District Administration with the help of different NGOs has established four relief camps in Tahirabad, Shahdara and two in Balogram. Internally Displaced People are settled in these camps where they are provided with all the necessities of life, it concluded.
