ISLAMABAD :- Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference Mirwaiz Umer Farooq on Thursday strongly condemned economic blockade of Kashmiris by the Indian occupied forces and expressed his strong resolve not to compromise or surrender their inherent right to have access trade routes to Azad Kashmir and Central Asia.
“According to Geneva Convention - economic blockade is an act of aggression or war so India is at war with the Kashmiris,” he told media.
Appreciating Pakistan’s persistent pro-Kashmiris stance and conciliatory approach for resolving the issue, he urged India to give up intransigency and respond positively in the same manner as issues cannot be resolved through the use of brutal force.
“Kashmiris are also in favour of negotiated settlement of chronic issues. And they should be taken on board to secure and amicable solution,” he added.
