MQM Calls Wheel Jam Strike on May 12 KARACHI: After Awami National Party, a major partner of provincial coalition government Muttahida Qaumi Movement has announced wheel jam strike in Sindh on May 12.

MQM leader Dr. Sagheer Ahmed on Monday said Muttahida Qaumi Movement supports the Haq Parast Peace Jirga. The members of the Jirga called on to the MQM members at Nine-Zero and urged for the strike call.

He said the MQM will also hold a public meeting on May 12 to inform the people about the real motives of the May 12, 2007, incidents.

Meanwhile, Awami National Party leader Asfandyar Wali has welcomed the announcement by MQM and said it endorses the stand taken by ANP.
