Myanmar Academy Awards 2010

Myanmar Academy Awards 2010, Academy awarding ceremony is held every year. This year, it will be held on February 6 at the City Hall (Nay Pyi Daw). Since Academy is the most prestigious award in Myanmar filming industry, every Myanmar artist in the industry wants this award.

As the ceremony is drawing nearer, heartbeats of the nominated artists are getting faster. Actors such as Khant Sithu, Nay Toe, Kyaw Ye` Aung, Yan Aung, Ye` Aung and Zin Wine are nominated for best leading actor award and best supporting actor award respectively.

Among them, actor Khant Sithu is the hottest nominee to win the award for the film A-Myar-Ne`-Ma-Thet-Sine-Taw-Thu. In that film, his character was a mentally retarded person and he did portray his character brilliantly.
