Naseeruddin in a catty mood!

Naseeruddin Shah seems unhappy with Vidya Balan’s recent comments about acting with him on the sets of ‘Ishqiya’. “I love to intimidate little girls, I snarl at them, snap at them and bite their noses off!,” said Naseeruddin Shah.

It’s not often that you catch Naseeruddin Shah in a sarcastic mood. But the actor flashed his sarcasm for Vidya Balan. She’s been going to town about how she was ‘intimidated’ while working with him in Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Ishqiya’. And Naseer doesn’t like that!

Naseer said,”I would have been happier had she said I enjoyed working with him and it was not difficult talking to him.”

Apart from ‘Ishqiya’, Naseer also has ‘Firaaq’ up for release. Nandita Das’s directorial debut is his second film on religious riots. “Earlier I was playing a role wherein the protagonist actually helps the action move forward, here the actor is not helping the action move forward. He is an obsever, he is filled with traquility, idealisms; sometimes foolishly misplaced,” added Naseer.

Having proved his supremacy over conventional actors once again in ‘A Wednesday’, we will hope for more such films from this Shah of acting.
