Naveed Foresees Political Stability After Presidential Election

ISLAMABAD:Federal Minister for Finance Syed Naveed Qamar said on Tuesday the country would witness more political stability after the presidential election scheduled to be held on September 6.
“I see time of political stability is approaching after the September 6 election,” he said speaking in a private television programme.
He said PPP’s presidential candidate Asif Ali Zardari has leadership qualities to keep all stakeholders united for country’s progress and prosperity.
Syed Naveed Qamar linked improvement in economy with political stability.
He said that increased oil prices were another reason of present state of country’s economy.
To a question, he regretted the PML-N decision of parting way from the ruling coalition.
He expressed the hope that after the presidential election, PPP would be in a position to bring back PML-N into the coalition.
Commenting on Kashmir policy, he said Pakistan always supported Kashmiris, who are struggling to attain their legitimate right of self-determination, at every fora.
The minister said Pakistan wanted to maintain good relations with neighbouring countries for socio-economic uplift of the region.
