Lahore, Pakistan: Nawaz Sharif Urges Clinton to Remove Pakistan Concerns, The visit of U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton held meeting with the head of his own faction of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Sharif here at Chief Minister House.
The current satiety and regional political security of the country, in the context of the recent wave of terrorism, the US-led war against terrorism, the ongoing military offensive against the Taliban and Al Qaeda in South Waziristan and the US aid for Pakistan following the approval of Kerry-Lugar bill would have dominated the agenda of the high-profile.

CM Punjab and PML-N president Mian Shahbaz Sharif, leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Ishaq Daar and Khuwaja Asif Nawaz also joined the meeting.

Nawaz reports convey reservations about the Kerry-Lugar act, saying the U.S. administration should eliminate the concerns of the nation of Pakistan on the conditions on the aid bill.

Nawaz said Pakistan had been inflicted in a serious battle and the country is experiencing conditions of war, “So the international community and the U.S. and Pakistan should help to address the crisis”.

At the meeting, Clinton assured full support of their country of Pakistan. However, he clarified that the PML-N leadership that time is up to Pakistan to accept U.S. aid or reject it.
