Outflow of $7.5 Mn from SCRA Amid Security Fears, Foreign investors continued selling shares in Pakistani stock markets this week amid deteriorating law and order situation.
According to State Bank of Pakistan foreign investors withdrew $7.5 million from Special Convertible Rupee Account (SCRA) during last business week. In contrast, buying of $5.8 million by mutual funds, who took advantage of attractive share prices, was recorded. Banks, companies and individual investors also were seen interested in buying.
