Pak Demands US of Hamesh Repatriation

ISLAMABAD: The government of Pakistan formally demanded the US to repatriate Hamesh Khan wanted in Punjab Bank scandal case reported by A Pakistan News.
The US embassy in Islamabad confirmed that it had received a letter from Pak Foreign Office regarding handing over of former BoP head Hamesh Khan.
The US embassy said the letter would be dispatched to the US in a couple of days, the US embassy spokesman said.
The letter also gave assurance to the US that the accused will not be manhandled or mistreated.
According to sources, the Deputy Prosecutor General of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is leaving for the US today to meet the legal requirements to bring back Hamesh Khan.
