Pak Would Welcome Dialogue With India: FM Qureshi

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan News: India is signaling that it is ready to hold bilateral talks, a move Pakistan would welcome if the talks lead to the resumption of full dialogue, which India suspended in late 2008, foreign minister said on Thursday.Pak Would Welcome Dialogue With India: FM Qureshi

“There are now signals emanating from India that they are willing to talk bilaterally,” Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi told a British news agency. “We welcome this … if it leads to resumption of the composite dialogue.”

India suspended official talks, known as the composite dialogue, on a range of issues including the disputed Kashmir region, after alleged Pakistan-based militants attacked the Indian city of Mumbai in November 2008.
