Pakistan Cancels Tender To Buy 50,000 Tonnes Sugar

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has cancelled a tender to import 50,000 tonnes of white sugar, an official of the state-owned Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) and an industry official said on Monday.
The tender, issued on April 30, was to have closed last Saturday but was cancelled on Friday, said the TCP official. He did not give a reason.
