ISLAMABAD:Acting President Mohammadmian Soomro on Thursday said there were vast investment opportunities in Pakistan and the country offered lucrative returns to investors.
He was speaking here during a visit to the construction site of World Trade Centre and residential projects of Al Ghurair Giga Pakistan at Defence Housing Authority.
The acting President said best possible facilities will be extended to the investors and several sectors were now open for investment. He said it would generate lot of economic activity, create jobs and encourage the local industry to grow.
He assured that all possible facilities will be extended to foreign investors so that they do not face any problem in carrying out their projects across the country.
The President was earlier briefed about the project that comprises the buildings of World Trade Centre, a hotel and other facilities at a cost of around US 300 million dollars.
The project to be completed in several phases uses latest construction technology and includes 23 towers, including 17 for residential and the rest for commercial purpose along GT road. He was informed that it was the largest concentration of towers that were being built on most modern lines.
The President also visited the construction site along with Chairman Al Ghurair Giga Group Haji Mohammad Rafiq Giga and Chief Operating Officer Haji Anis Pardesi.
