Pakistan, Turkey Courts Sign MoU For Cooperation

ANKARA: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry signed a memorandum of understanding with the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Turkey to launch a programme of cooperation between the superior courts of the two countries.
The courts will share information and experiences under a programme of mutual cooperation.
Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry has arrived in Ankara on Thursday at the invitation of the President of the Constitutional Court of Turkey, to attend a Symposium marking the 47th Anniversary of the Constitutional Court of Turkey.
Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry in his address said that Pakistan and Turkey share same religion and have a long history of brotherly relations.
