PHILADELPHIA: Deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry vowed, lawyers would continue to stage protests across Pakistan until the success of their movement, which would be accomplished until the reinstatement of deposed judges.

Iftikhar was addressing to his honorary party at Pennsylvania Law College in Philadelphia and said adding, Pakistan is witnessing a revolutionary process these days. He clarified that whatever he had done was aimed at winning true democracy and independent judiciary in Pakistan.

Deposed CJP underlined, “Lawyers movement, in terms of Independent Judiciary and the rule of law, would pave way to foreign investment into Pakistan and assured, “All the segments of society would be joined together by untiring struggle of lawyers.”

During his address, Deposed CJ applauded the services of Munir A Malik, President Supreme Court Bar, which he rendered for the hegemony of Judiciary and called on the stage his (Munir Malik) daughter.
