Partial Strike in Country on PML-N Call

Islamabad and Rawalpindi Friday observed partial shutter down on Pakistan Muslim League (N) strike call to protest against disqualification of Sharifs and imposition of governor rule in Punjab.
In the twin cities shopping centres and markets were partially closed.
Heavy contingents of police have been deployed in Rawalpindi to meet any untoward incident. PML-N leader Raja Zafar-ul-Haq will lead a rally in the city after Friday prayers.
The markets and shopping centres have been closed in Lahore and other cities and towns of Punjab on PML-N strike call. The shutter down being observed in Sargodha, Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Sahiwal, Okara, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh and Bhakkar.
Lahore traders’ community and Lahore Business Forum have also backed the strike call. Mian Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif will lead a protest rally in Lahore from Punjab Assembly.
A partial shutter down witnessed in Quetta, as the strike call remain ineffective in other parts of Balochistan and NWFP.
The strike call also went unheeded in Karachi and other parts of Sindh.
