PCB Restrict Players From Using Face Book And Tweeter

After the incident of Zulkernain Haider, Pakistan Cricket Board has barred its players from Using Face Book and Twitter. Haider ran away from Dubai and went to UK and apply for asylum. The players who are contracted with PCB were restricted from using the social websites like Face Book and Tweeter. Manager Intikhab Alam said that the measures have been taken for the safety of the players. Players are also asked to minimize their activities while they are not playing.In the revised code of conduct contract this clause is entered and it is advised that players should not discuss any cricketing issues on the websites. PCB’s legal adviser Taffazul Rizvi said that the fake sites are also running on players name and it is advised that people who are involved in it should end this other wise legal action under cyber crime shall be taken against them.
PCB wants to secure its cricketers and also regain cricket back in Pakistan so it is necessary to take such measures that suggests that PCB is seriously looking to act on the new code of conduct. Pakistan team is schedule to play series in New Zealand. They will play 2 tests, 3 T-20’s and 6 ODI’s in New Zealand.
