Pervez Musharraf Vows to Face all Cases

LONDON: Former president Pervez Musharraf has said the Supreme Judicial Council by denying verdict on the presidential referemce agaInst the Chief Justice had violated the constitution.

In an interview Musharraf said he would appear before the country’s courts in whatever case he was asked to and expects justice from the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Pervez Musharraf said none of his past actions were wrong and had been taken in the supreme interests of the nation.
He said he didn’t know that removal of the Chief Justice would become such a big issue to bring the lawyers on roads.
The courts and the parliament have given legal and constitutional indemnity to his all steps, Musharraf said.
Musharraf said non-payment to the power companies is the cause of the power crisis in the country.
Musharraf said he would visit the country when he felt necessary, adding that he did not fear returning home. The former president said he was popular abroad but no less popular in Pakistan.
Musharraf said he would appear before the country’s courts in whatever case he was asked to and expects justice from the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
