Peshawar: Search Operation Halted In Regi Lalma

Police on Sunday halted the ongoing search operation against militants in Regi Lalma area in Peshawar, while no arreast was made in the wake of operation.
Meanwhile, heavy contingent has been deployed in the area amid fears of security threats.
SSP Operations Kashif Alam told Geo News that the search operation was carried out after armed militants occupied the CDMD office and kidnapped few workers.
He said operation has not been stopped as a result of any understanding with the militants. He further said people should not get upset, as extra police contingent has been deployed to safeguard them.
