Petroleum ministry proposes 2.5 % cut in POL prices

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Petroleum has proposed a cut of 2.5 percent in petrol and diesel prices, Geo TV reported on Thursday. According to sources, under the proposed prices, petrol will cost Rs56.21 a litre instead of the present Rs57.66 per litre, while high speed diesel will be sold at Rs56.21 per litre as against current Rs57.17 a litre. While the new price of HBC will be Rs70.38.
