Pitt struggles to buy Christmas gift for Jolie

Being a celebrity doesn’t always help even if you are Brad Pitt. The actor learned this hard lesson while trying to buy a Christmas gift for partner Angelina Jolie.
Pitt had to enlist the help of his less-famous friend to buy the gift because the shop clerks refused to believe that Pitt was calling them. They thought he was a prank caller.
The star struggled to purchase the complete works of Hungarian cult director Bela Tarr for Jolie in time for Christmas. But Pitt’s pleas were ignored and shop clerks at a small DVD store in Budapest kept hanging up on him, because they thought he was a phony, the Contactmusic reported.
Pitt had to finally give up and had to call another friend in the city – opera singer Laszlo Domahidy – to purchase the package for him. An aide to Pitt said, “He tried several times on the phone but had to give up. They just didn’t believe him.”
