PM Gilani announces Rs 50 billion funds for Balochistan

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Saturday announced Rs 50 billion for Balochistan, saying the government was cognizant of the problems and would do all to end sense of deprivation.
Chairing a meeting here at the PM House, the prime minister said the government was doing all within its limited resources to provide best possible facilities to the people of Balochistan, including health, education, communication and infrastructure development to bring it at par with the rest of the country.
The prime minister said this year the government would provide Rs 8 billion more as compared to the last year for development of the province. The meeting was attended by the Governor Zulfiqar Magsi, Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Aslam Raisani, Deputy Chairman Senate Jan Mohammad Jamali and members of provincial assembly.
