PM Gilani, President Zardari Discuss Security, Pakistan-Iran ties

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani called on President Asif Ali Zardari at President House here Tuesday.
The meeting took place in the backdrop of today’s Supreme Court verdict that declares Chief of his own faction of Pakistan Muslim League and former premier Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and his brother and Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif eligible of holding public office.
The two leaders discussed the security situation of the region especially the ongoing operation against militants in Malakand division and President’s recent visit to Tehran, says the channel.
