PML-N to play positive role in opposition: Ch. Nisar

Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Wednesday said that the resignation of PML-N members from the federal ministries would be accepted today.
Addressing a press conference here, Nisar Ali Khan informed that Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani told him on phone that resignations of the PML-N members from the federal ministries would be accepted today.
He said that his party would sit in the opposition benches during the next meeting of the national assembly.
The PML-N leader said his party would extend its cooperation if the President sought it on national issues.
He underlined that the PML-N would play a positive role while sitting in the opposition and will not destabilize the government.
Referring to his meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari, he said ‘both of us’ had agreed to make the Kashmir committee functional.
He told that his party would not back track on the issue of right to self-determination for the people of Kashmir.
He was of the view that the PML-N supports cordial relations with India, but linked it with resolution of Kashmir issue.
