PML-N Wants President From Smaller Province: Farooq

ISLAMABAD :Spokesman of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Siddiqul Farooq on Thursday has said that PML-N desire that the next president would be from smaller province of the country and the coalition partners will present a unanimous candidate for the slot.
Talking to Voice Of America (VOA) he said that the priority of PML-N and the entire nation is restoration of judges and the role of judiciary is more important than presidency because president is a part of the parliament but judiciary is a major pillar of state.
To a question he said that the PPP, PML-N and ANP cannot step back from restoration of judges and soon the judges will be restored, our party meeting is in progress and we are hopeful for positive result.
He said that if the PPP leadership has some complaints or compulsions with regard to restoration of deposed judges it should bring them in the notice of top PML-N leadership.
The PML-N Spokesman said that the resignation of former president has shown some good indications as the business at Karachi Stock Exchange got a momentum and the rupee was stabilized against the dollar.
