Police Firing In Nankana Sahib Labor Killed

LAHORE: The family members and relatives of a kidnapped child, who was later killed, were staging protest demonstration when police, in a bid to disperse them, opened indiscriminate fire, killing a 22-year-old worker here in Morh Khandda locality of Nankana Sahib district late on Saturday, Geo news reported.
According to details, a nine-year-old child was abducted two days earlier whose corpse was found today, on this, blood relatives and family members staged protest and blocked a main road, chanting slogans against police. Subsequently, police opened indiscriminate fire and charged protesters with baton. Consequently, a protester Allah Wasaya received fatal bulled injuries and later succumbed to injuries.
Local politicians arrived shortly after the incident and dispersed demonstrators on condition of provision of justice to them soon, sources added.
