Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 12:52 pm

MQM Chief Altaf Hussain said that all minorities, regardless of religion, are Pakistanis and urged the public to unite against extremism in Pakistan.

Public Should Unite Against ExtremismHe was adressing party workers via telephone in cities across Pakistan on the 32nd Foundation day of All Pakistan Muttahida Students Organization (APMSO), on Friday.

He said that if the rulers of Pakistan would have followed the ideology of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Pakistan would not need to beg the world for donations.

He alleged the politicians were looting the national exchequer. Hussain said that those who had plundered national exchequer should be hanged at the cross-ways.

“The time for beggars has ended, he said, adding, his party will not sit idle before standing the country onto its feet.”

The MQM chief pledged that MQM, if came into power, would impose taxes on capitalists and feudalists instead of poors.

Hussain said that a conspiracy is being hatched again to trigger sectarian riots in Karachi. He urged the religious leaders to play their due role for the establishment of peace in the city. “People should again foil the conspiracies aimed at fanning sectarian violence in the city, he said.”
