Punjab to give Iftikhar Chaudhry CJP protocol: Law Minister Rana Sanaullah
LAHORE: The Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Tuesday said Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry would be given the protocol due to the Chief Justice of Pakistan while in Punjab.
Speaking to the media, Sanaullah said the Nov-3 steps were illegal and unconstitutional.
Sanaullah added that the PPP is onboard with the PML-N over the Punjab government’s decision to give Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry full protocol during his stay in the province.
He said the judges were restored so the salaries are being paid to them. “Asif Zardari’s decision to pay salaries to the judges endorses our position on the issue,” he added.
