Pakistan News: Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik said on Wednesday that he will prefer to be buried in Pakistan instead of escaping. He vowed to resign from his office if corruption charges leveled against him proved.
Talking to media in Islamabad, Rehman Malik said country’s future will remain under threat, if terrorism is not eradicated. “Political and military leadership of the country is determined to uproot militancy and sacrifices rendered by security forces will not be wasted.” The interior minister maintained that the government is ready for talks if terrorists surrender. Malik said begging is not a good act but country’s weak economic situation forced the government to do so.
