What sinister plan Arjun throws in a Mannu entrusted to destroy his career and what it all leads to forms the rest of the film.
Amrutlal Vipul Shah has delivered its product to date technically better with dreams of London. But apart from the technique of high emotions, as well. Vipul fit gives time for character development of each of its key players. Devoid of unnecessary melodrama that captures the emotional moments with aplomb. Camerawork Sejal Shah is of international standards. The scenes are beautifully lit at night.
Among the defects, the climax is overdone, and Shankar Ehsaan Loy’s music is not really up to the mark, especially in the climax concert numbers. The song that comes after everything is too slow and a number have been awake for an apt finale.
Ajay is excellent in his part and one can see the best villain award coming his way into the awards this year. Salman seems to be enjoying himself and is very nice. While Asin is most of the time to second place gets a nice act. Her chemistry with Salman works. Popular VJ Aditya and Ranvijay of Roadies fame to a good start. Om Puri impresses in a small part as usual.
This film was originally planned over a decade to return to be made by Rajkumar Santoshi with SRK and Aamir. Well, maybe not star now, but makes an excellent musical journey worth of experience in large movie theater.
