An abandoned or disabled U-Haul truck on Robert F Kennedy Bridge caused major traffic difficulties Wednesday night.Truck was apparently leaking fuel.
Police officers opened with care the truck and discovered that it was empty.
Authorities were taking no chances after the failed bomb plot in Times Square over the weekend in which an explosives-laded SUV was left on 45th Street.
