Richard Holbrooke Seeks Financial Help for Pakistan, US special envoy for Pakistan and Afghanistan Richard Holbrooke says that NATO countries are not paying any heed to help Pakistan financially which is inevitable for success in Afghanistan.
Talking to media in Brussels Holbrooke urged European countries to increase Pakistan’s aid. “The very important ally in war against terrorism, Pakistan suffers severe financial problems,” he said. Richard Holbrooke said that Afghanistan is the ultimate test of NATO. It’s not right to compare Afghanistan with Vietnam as Vietnam had never been direct threat for America or Europe.
