River Kunhar in High Flood, Rest Flowing Normal in NWFP

PESHAWAR: According to the latest report of NWFP Flood Cell Peshawar, the River Kunhar at Balakot is in high flood, discharging 9620 cusecs of water.

The report further says that the River Kabul at Warsak and Nowshera, Shalman River at Takhtabad and Adezai River at Adezai Bridge are also in medium flood.
Moreover, Swat river at Amandara and Munda Head Works, Swat River at Khiali, Budni Nullah at Charsadda Road Peshawar, Kalpani Nullah at Mardan City Baghdada Swabi Road, Siran River at Khanpur are in low flood, while the remaining rivers of the province are flowing normally.
