Sasha Star, Broadway star Sasha Allen will sing the tune, “Huddled,” at the end of the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Liberty Island, which will draw politicians and local dignitaries.

“We hope this ends the ceremony on a really inspirational note,” Wozunk, 47, said. “This is exciting. It will be amazing to be on the stage with all of those famous people. It’s the experience of the lifetime.”

Wozunk, who lives in Kensington, Brooklyn, bought the rights to commercially produce the musical three years ago.

The story was being used as an educational piece, but Wozunk has helped transform it into a nine-character musical that explains the history of the Statue of Liberty.

Wozunk hopes the show will hit the stage next year.

“It’s incredibly exciting because it’s been quite a journey,” Wozunk said. “This is a break for us.”

The musical is composed by brother-and-sister team Jonathan and Dana Leslie Goldstein.

Wozunk came to New York as a playwright but was once a dancer and owns a music business in Park Slope catering to children.

“My life has always had something to do with music,” she said. “I believe in the project, the insight that it gives to our history and the parallels that still go today with immigrants.”

The City Lights Youth Theatre will perform other songs from the musical on Liberty Island later in the day.
