Shahbaz to accept PPP decision on Punjab cabinet

ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif maintained here Wednesday that his party will accept “any decision” of Pakistan Peoples Party on joining the Punjab government.
Talking to media persons after holding a meeting with Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, CM Punjab said that all the prevailing political troubles could easily be settled down by implementing Charter of Democracy (CoD).
Sharif hailed the PM’s ‘positive attitude’ during the recent political crisis.
Earlier in the meeting, PM Gilani reported to be said that the restoration of Punjab government and deposed judges and election of chairman Senate have opened new avenues of reconciliation in the country’s political scene.
PM informed Sharif that Speaker National Assembly will soon constitute a committee in consultation with the leaders of the parliamentary parties to implement CoD.
