Sherry Condemns Jirga Blast ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Sherry Rehman on Thursday strongly condemned the bomb blast at a jirga in Bajaur Agency and expressed sorrow over the loss of innocent human lives.

In a message, she denounced the terrorist act and added such acts cannot shake the government’s resolve to fight menace of terrorism in the country.

She said that the perpetrators of this act would not be spared and expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of lives and injuries caused by the blast.

She prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss with equanimity.

She also prayed for early recovery of those who were injured in the blast.
