Sonia Gandhi Re-elected As CPP Chairperson

NEW DELHI: The Congress Parliamentary Party on Tuesday re-elected Sonia Gandhi as its chairperson.

The CPP is also likely to appoint Dr Singh as its leader paving way for him to be re-elected as Prime Minister.

The CPP would also endorse Manmohan as the leader of Rajya Sabha, while Pranab would be given the charge of the Lok Sabha.

Besides, the Congress leadership has also convened a meeting of the UPA on May 20 in which all pre-poll alliance partners have been invited
