Sri Lanka Piles 406-3 in Karachi Test

KARACHI: Sri Lanka piled up 406 for the loss of three wickets at draw of stumps on the first day of the first test against Pakistan at National Stadium on Sunday.
Captain Jayawardene, 136, and Thilan Samarweera on 130 were at the crease at close, having added 229 runs for the unbroken fourth wicket stand.
Sri Lankan’s had won the toss and elected to bat first on good batting track.
