Sri Lanka Resume innings in Karachi

KARACHI: Sri Lanka resumed their innings with strength on second day of Karachi Test at National Stadium here on Sunday.
The tourists piled up 406 runs for the loss of three wickets at stumps on the first day of the first test against Pakistan on Saturday.

Captain Jayawardene, 136, and Thilan Samarweera on 130 were at the crease at close, having
added 229 runs for the unbroken fourth wicket stand.
Sri Lankan’s had won the toss and elected to bat first on good batting track.
